Redefining Remote Interventions with Haptic Telerobotics

Our Role
The Context
Sentante is developing the first fully-robotic tele-operated system for endo vascular interventions. Being able to carry out catheterization requires a great deal of hand eye coordination where the feel of the catheter informs the surgeons decision. How might we recreate this feel with a tele-operated robot.

The configuration of Sentante was driven by a deep understanding of neuromodulation performance, user needs, and clinical workflows. Every element—electrode layout, system housing, and interface geometry—was optimized for precision, comfort, and usability.

Through iterative prototyping and collaboration with neuroscience professionals, we designed a configuration that ensures consistent signal quality while remaining intuitive to operate.
